IN DEVELOPMENT

Mindlight has several feature films in development at any given time but we've learned it's tough to promote a specific project until it is in the later stages in development as momentum is an important element. That said we will be embarking on at least two feature film projects in 2008. We also are drawn to other projects as co-productions that have some form of financing or attachments so contact us if you have an amazing project you need help with.

HORROR FILM: One of the films Mindlight is working on is a low budget horror film. We're excited to tackle the genre and look forward to putting everything we've learned in the last decade making feature films into a genre that's often looked down upon. Our original script is being fine tuned as we speak and will blow people away when it's completed.

COMEDY FILM: On the comedy front, Mindlight is excited to work with several of the performers it's met in recent years on the comedy scene in another upcoming feature film that is still untitled. The project is an in your face, character driven, film that doesn't take itself too seriously and relies more on the writing and performances than high production value and flash. If categorized, it would be similar to one of the newer Will Farrell movies like "Blades of Glory" or "Semi Pro" but only funny. Our opinion is that often a mainstream comedy is watered down to appeal to everybody but ends up losing a lot of it's audience as a result.

In the not too distant future we will post a few of the other projects that are partially packaged and awaiting a final greenlight, including "Council Hill" "Poker Night" and "Da' Police".
